As a photographer, I experiment with the art’s many forms and styles through which I attempt to convey the image by applying my conceptual and aesthetic point of view. More than simply reproducing reality, my passion manifests itself in the search for a photographic language that captures a deeper meaning, at least that’s my intention, through the use of time, space and light. I do post-production work only if it’s necessary.  

 

I adore and always keep in mind a quote from Fernando Pessoa: “What was I thinking about before I got lost in looking?” This question seems to describe well how I feel when facing versions of reality that I often catch sight of or manifest themselves, because looking closely, reality is often more elaborate and powerful than my imagination.

La mia attività fotografica mi porta a sperimentare vari ambiti e stili fotografici, attraverso i quali cerco di raccontare usando sempre il mio punto di vista concettuale ed estetico dell’immagine fotografica. Più che nella sistematica riproduzione della realtà, la mia passione si manifesta nel ricercare un linguaggio fotografico che permetta, almeno nelle intenzioni, di cogliere significati più profondi, attraverso il dosare tempo, spazio e luce, e limitando all'essenziale la post-produzione.  

 

Amo ricordare una frase di Fernando Pessoa  “ma cosa stavo pensando prima di perdermi a guardare?” Questa frase sembra descrivere bene il mio sentimento di fronte alle visioni della realtà che spesso scorgo o si manifestano, perché a guardar bene, la realtà si offre più ricca e forte della mia immaginazione".
